About the Directory

The Stanford Directory is Stanford University's official campus phone book containing 550 pages of phone listings, yellow pages and dining guide advertisements, and valuable coupons. The Stanford Directory is distributed annually to all students, faculty, and staff (~32,000 copies). Additionally, the Directory has been distributed to 2,000 local hotel rooms this year for increased exposure for our advertisers.

The Directory also produces the print version of the Unofficial Guide to Stanford, a precursor to the Directory distributed to every student on the day they move in (~15,000 copies). The Guide aims to contain all the information a Stanford student would ever need, including restaurant and travel reviews, Stanford history, employment resources, and information on day-to-day life.

Student run and produced, the Directory employs over 35 students during its production. The Directory offers students the opportunity to develop creative, sales, marketing, and managerial skills in a uniquely supportive and enjoyable environment.
